Scotland nurses’ poor math skills endanger patients

According to a government report, nurses' numerical errors are putting patients in danger, reports the Sunday Times.
Nurses struggle to convert doses from larger to smaller units, adapt measures correctly, or calculate correct dosages according to patient weight. The study also found that nurses rarely checked dosages ordered by physicians.
