Aggressive patients may impede their own care

Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, October 14, 2008

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Manitoba in Canada has discovered that physicians must often deal with aggressive patients skeptical of their physicians, reports the Globe and Mail.

Patients who are aggressive or refuse a physician's diagnosis may hinder their own patient safety, according to the study.
