CDC: Measles outbreak imported from Switzerland, Israel

The largest resurgence of the measles since 2001 has been reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to the Washington Post.
Since the beginning of the year, 64 cases have been reported in nine states. Officials believe the outbreaks are imported U.S. from other countries, including Switzerland and Israel, which are fighting large outbreaks, reports the Post. They say the disease has taken hold in children who were no immunized. Though 14 people have been hospitalized, no deaths have been linked to the disease.
