WHO database shares avian-flu virus information

The World Health Organization (WHO) has created an online public database that tracks the avian flu virus, according to The Wall Street Journal. The database contains information about virus samples found in various countries, as well as which vaccine companies or laboratories will receive them.
Currently, 46 entries of the virus are listed on the database. Since 2003, the virus has infected 351 people, 62% of which were fatal, according to the Journal.
