The Massachusetts Hospital Association (MHA) is releasing data from all Massachusetts hospitals on the prevalence of pressure ulcers in each facility. The data can be found on the Patients First Web site. Patients First is a group formed by the MHA and the Massachusetts Organization of Nursing Executives and has helped publicly report different types of patient safety-related data from Massachusetts hospitals.

The data, collected in two separate one-day prevalence studies in March and September 2007, were endorsed by The National Quality Forum, a nonprofit organization that encourages data reporting on 30 quality measures.
