JCI to hold international practicum
Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, January 22, 2008
Joint Commission International (JCI) will hold the International Practicum on Quality Improvement and Accreditation in the spring and fall of this year. The practicum will be held in four global locations: Singapore, Ireland, Costa Rica, and Qatar. All sessions will offer a more basic track for organizations looking to achieve JCI accreditation and a more advanced track that will include analysis of JCI standards.
The practicum also includes survey simulation, in which JCI members lead groups through a hospital to teach participants about the survey process.
