JCI receives International Society for Quality in Healthcare accreditation
Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, January 8, 2008
The Joint Commission International (JCI) recently received accreditation by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), a non-profit, independent organization with members in 70 countries. ISQua accredits accrediting bodies that demonstrate specific standards and training processes. JCI has accredited more than 140 hospitals in 27 countries to date.
