Patient Safety Alliance arrives in Scotland

Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, December 11, 2007

The Patient Safety Alliance, founded by The Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will be introduced to Scotland, reports the Evening News.

The alliance, which claims it has saved thousands of U.S. lives, aims to reduce healthcare-associated infections and increase patient safety. The program will be implemented across Scotland in January 2008.
