WHO focuses on safer injection practices
Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, November 27, 2007
United Nations agencies, donors, experts, and country representatives recently met to examine how to encourage countries to purchase safer needles and get manufacturing companies to lower their prices.
The World Health Organization (WHO), will provide data and guidance on safe injection practices and encourage companies to exchange knowledge of the technology.
