With robots that can cry, convulse, and even replicate the birthing process, Yale University's nursing students are seeing the latest in nursing technology.

Students at the New Haven, CT, school are able to practice skills on two robots, dubbed Harry and Noelle. Harry can blink, cry, and simulate convulsions. Noelle, a more advanced model, is also able to simulate birth. The robots were recently exhibited during the School of Nursing's Alumni Weekend, during which attendees commented that nursing technology has changed for the better since they had attended school.

School officials believe the new technology and innovative, hands-on training will successfully prepare students for the field, allowing them to learn and make mistakes in a safe environment.
