CentraCare Health System in St. Cloud, MN-an ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® recipient in 2004-recently reported revenue growth of 9% from 2006 to $649.7 million, according to an article in the St. Cloud Times. The article also reported that the healthcare system's operating income fell $28.4 million for the year, largely a result of an $11.3 million investment in new technology. The health system recently launched a new electronic medical records system, which is expected to increase patient safety and staff efficiency. The facility will also start a patient Web site called "My chart" to allow patients to view their health information, including test results and medications.
