HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, October 16, 2007
Once your organization has achieved ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation, maintain this visibility in the community. The following five key points will prove useful:
- Identify your organization as an MRP status facility in every advertisement published in your local newspaper, nursing journal advertisements, or recruitment brochures
- Revise all organizational brochures/educational material in a timely fashion to reflect designation
- Notify the deans of your local nursing schools/colleges
- Display a banner at job fairs
- Update your organizational and nursing Web site with stories from employees sharing what designation means to them
