Eighteenth healthcare organization in Texas achieves designation
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, October 9, 2007
Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, TX, recently received ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) status--the 18th facility in Texas to achieve the nursing excellence award. According to Nancy Sims, CNO, the MRP award recognizes the high-quality care provided to the community each day by nurses and all staff across the organization. Besides achieving MRP designation, Memorial Hermann Baptist has also been named as a Nurse-Friendly Hospital by the Texas Nurses Association, joining 30 others hospitals, out of 581 Texas facilities, to have earned the Nurse-Friendly award.
