Three organizations honored for high-quality patient care
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, August 7, 2007
The American Hospital Association (AHA) recently awarded the McKesson Quest for Quality Prize to Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, IN. The award recognizes healthcare organizations that are committed to achieving the Institute of Medicine's six quality aims and have measurable evidence of the progress they have made in creating a culture of high-quality patient care. The two finalists for the prize were Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angles and INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. All three organizations are ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® recipients.
