Motivating the team is hard work, but it is one of the most important actions you take when coaching your staff. So how can you get staff members motivated? One important tip is to inspire your staff and build their confidence-this will inspire them to move forward and will bring success. Keep the following tips in mind to help them build confidence:

  • Demonstrate a competent knowledge of the technical tools and processes with which your staff work
  • Have knowledge of the policies of the organization
  • Give answers and the reasons for those answers
  • Earn a reputation for keeping your word
  • Use sound judgment in business and personal matters
