Hold a cover design content for your documentation
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, July 24, 2007
Generate enthusiasm among staff nurses during your application for ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation by inviting all staff nurses to participate in a contest to design the cover for your documentation materials. The cover of each volume of the documentation needs a theme that should have eye appeal and attract the reviewer to the content within.
When creating this contest, remember the following:
- The cover design should reflect nursing practice at your organization and the mission of the institution
- Copyrighted logos and copy are not permitted but Clip Art is acceptable
- The MRP steering committee should review all submissions and select a winner
- The nursing department logo or the MRP logo may be incorporated into the design
- The contest winner(s) should be awarded a prize
