HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, July 3, 2007
Penny Hurley, RN, MS, MBA, director of special projects and patient care services at the University of Chicago Medical Center-an ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® recipient in 2007-decided to bring some of the facility's personality to the organization's written documentation. She started every page that featured a piece of evidence with a picture of staff nurses who represented the evidence. For example, if the evidence concerned the research committee, a picture of the committee members was featured on that page.
