As part of Nurses Week, nurses in Michigan visited schools from the elementary level all the way through college to introduce students to the nursing profession.

Nurses from the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, MI, visited St. Charles Borromeo Elementary School in Coldwater, Franklin School in Battle Creek, and Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, encouraging students to consider nursing as a profession.

Specifically, students learned about the different places that nurses work, more details about their jobs, and what education is necessary to become a nurse. They were also able to test various pieces of equipment, including stethoscopes and an EKG machine.
