An Oklahoma college has received $3 million from an anonymous donor to fund two programs in nursing education.

The University of Oklahoma's College of Nursing will use the funding to support a Web-based, one-year accelerated Master's Degree program, which will enroll 14 students a year and will offer students full scholarships plus a $10,000 stipend.

The second program supported by the funding will offer free tuition and a $3,000 stipend to students who already have a nursing Master's Degree but want to earn a post-graduate certificate in nursing education.

The donation was awarded through the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma.
