A Pennsylvania university was recently granted approval to offer a Doctorate Degree in nursing.
Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA, said the program will give nurses with Bachelor's Degrees the chance to obtain a Doctorate without first obtaining a Master's. The program was approved earlier this week by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing.
The school expects to enroll about 11 full-time and 25 part-time students in the program for the 2007-2008 academic year. Around the country, 28 programs have been approved to offer the degree.
