First facility in Missouri achieves redesignation

Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics of Kansas City was recently redesignated with ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® status. Children's Mercy was initially designated in 2003, making it the first facility in Missouri and the third children's hospital in the nation to receive designation. Children's Mercy is one of 13 National Institutes of Health-funded Pediatric Pharmacology Research Units in the United States studying the effects of pharmaceuticals on children.
