Provide feedback as a no-cost reward to the organization
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, October 24, 2006
Providing employees with feedback about their performance is one of the strongest rewards that an organization can offer. Using evaluation standards enhances position descriptions that clearly state required performance expectations.
ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® designated organizations use a participative management style and incorporate feedback at all levels. Development of accurate job descriptions and tools for evaluation of staff nurses including peer review is integral to role development and to professional socialization within the environment of a designated organization.
