Plan and prepare for evidence collecting and writing narratives
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, September 19, 2006
There are multiple ways to collect evidence of the Forces of Magnetism and numerous ways to write narratives for the sources of evidence. However, you must find the processes that fit well within your organization.
Don't just jump into this phase of the process: Have a plan in place. As a starting point, here are questions to ask yourself as you prepare to collect evidence and write narratives:
- Where will the evidence come from?
- Who will oversee the evidence collection?
- How will we decide which evidence to use, and where to include it in the documentation?
- Who will write/edit the narratives?
- Who will edit/proof the final draft?
