Instead of ABBA's "Dancing Queen," several nurses at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (NJ) Hamilton were recently treated to a rendition of "Nursing Queen."

The spoof song was part of the musical comedy show "Too Live Nurse," done by nurses for nurses. The show, which the hospital brought in to show appreciation for its nurses, tackles nursing school, the first day on the job, and a variety of medical conditions through skits.

Amy Fiebke, president of Muse-Med Inc., which puts on the production, and her husband, Ted, have written and produced the show since 1992. The goal is to combat healthcare professional's stress through humor. "Too Live Nurse" won the Doug Fletcher Award for Excellence in Therapeutic Humor in 2002, an honor shared by, among others, Patch Adams and Jerry Lewis.
