Site-visit preparation: Improve participation with advanced notice
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, March 28, 2006
When planning activities to prepare staff for the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® appraiser's on-site visit, participation will be much greater if you notify managers, supervisors, and staff well in advance of the activity dates and times. Doing so will allow managers and supervisors to plan coverage and it will ensure that people who need to attend a session will be free to do so. Use all communication tools available to you-such as newsletters, e-mails, memos, staff meetings, bulletin boards, and voicemail-to announce the activities.
