Nearly 500 staff members at the Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles have been retrained in CPR after auditors working for the county health department found that an instructor falsified paperwork, gave away test answers, and sold certification cards.

The instructor, Nurse Manager Virginia A. Williams, was escorted off the hospital grounds in November after health officials conducted a sting in which an employee working with authorities pretended to need certification, the Los Angeles Times reported.
