For rural residents of Montana who live miles away from the nearest medical facility, help is not far off. Great Falls, MT-based Benefis Healthcare's Mercy Flight, an aeromedical transport program, has created a directory containing the addresses of Montanans living in remote areas, including those who have health problems such as diabetes or heart conditions.

The directory gives emergency flight crews fast access to directions so they can reach patients as quickly as possible. More than 1,200 rural residents are already signed up for the program.

For more information on the program, or to register, call (406) 455-4421.
