That's why Barbara Wadsworth, RN, MSN, MBA, CNAA,BC, administrative nurse director at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA, held a 24-hour party after her organization earned designation in July 2003. She says that it's not only important to plan your fun while you're on the journey, but that earning the designation calls for a huge celebration to reward all employees for their hard work.
