HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, June 8, 2005
To comply with Force of Magnetism 10, Community and the healthcare organization, don't leave community relations solely to your CNO. A source close to the ANCC says that nurses representing all levels of an organization should be visible in the community.
A community presence could be demonstrated by
--speaking at local universities
--volunteering at shelters
--delivering keynote speeches at area hospitals that are applying for ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® status to foster collegiality between facilities
