We all get stuck in the mud once in a while. On a regular basis in my case! But it doesn't have to stop nurse managers and leaders completely and sabotage your dreams. It's easy to give in and give up when this happens, but I just see it as business as usual. Time for a course correction to jumpstart yourself once again. You're just a tweak away from getting up and getting going again.
Here are some tips that might help:
U – Unwind for a while and relax to clear your head. Schedule time on your calendar to ensure you will do this.
N – Note what's going on. Consider writing in a journal about it.
S – Speak your truth and be honest with yourself.
