This month's tool will help you develop the justification you need for purchasing new equipment. After planning and approval of the capital budget, you will need to develop the capital justification when you are ready to purchase the equipment. Justifications should include a summary with supporting documentation attached. A front page summary is important to give the bottom line information. Use this sample summary tool to develop a template specific to your hospital's needs.
