This week’s question about MD ANCC Magnet Recognition Program ® (MRP) champions comes from a discussion on JourneyTalk.
Q: I am initiating a MD MRP champion team and if anyone has strategies/advice on how to best involve key MDs on the MRP Journey, I would really appreciate it.
A: I meet with my champions for one hour every other month. Next year (the year before site visit) we will start meeting monthly. Whenever I can get them involved in competing with one another, I get great results. They generate a great deal of excitement on their unit if they/or their unit can win something.
