In the news: Oregon Hospital receives designation

Salem Hospital of Salem, Oregon became the latest facility to achieve ANCC Magnet Recognition Program ® designation earlier this month
“This designation is much coveted in the United States," Cheryl Nester Wolfe, Salem Health chief operations officer and chief nursing officer told the Statesman Journal. "We worked really hard to get here, and we will work really hard to stay here, which is the rest of our journey." Salem Hospital began working toward MRP status in 2003, then began an increased effort in 2007. They received their official notification September 15, 2010.
