Q: What are the advantages of using computer-based learning as an educational approach?
A: CBL provides many benefits for the organizations and individuals that set up the internal and external systems to use it effectively. Some of the benefits are listed below:
• Available 24/7 and just in time. Enables individuals to find and use the information needed exactly when they need it most.
• Learner controlled. Learners know when they need additional information and for what purposes.
• Cost-effective. Savings occur because of the ability to use fewer instructors to reach many more learners, reduced travel expenses, reduced downtime, and the ability to train a dispersed workforce at the same time or at different levels.
