HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, June 21, 2010
University of Colorado Hospital has joined an exclusive club, receiving its third designation through the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP).
"It says they want to be nurses. They want to do a good job and to provide quality care for patients. They want positive outcomes," says Carolyn Sanders, RN, Ph.D., CNO, and vice president of patient services, in an official statement to Denver Nursing Star.
University of Colorado Hospital is the 32nd hospital in the world to earn the nursing designation three times—previous designations took place in 2001 and 2005.
