In the news: Designation increases prestige of nursing school
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, June 11, 2010
With its recent designation by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP), Swedish Covenant Hospital (SCH), in Chicago has improved the lot of the North Park University School of Nursing, which sends its students to SCH for clinical training.
SCH Dean Linda Olson says the MRP-designated facilities SCH has aligned with—including NorthShore University Health System, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Advocate Lutheran General, all of Chicago—provide greater learning opportunities for its students.
