HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, June 7, 2010
El Camino Hospital of Mountain View, CA, became the first Bay area hospital to receive ANCC Magnet Recognition Program ® (MRP) re-designation this week.
Only three hospitals in Northern California have achieved MRP status, and El Camino became the first to apply for and pass through the re-designation process.
Chief Clinical Operations and Chief Nursing Officer Diana Russell told a gathering of 1,000 nurses last week, "You are [MRP] nurses. You are at the very top of your profession and this is a testament to your dedication and hard work."
