Q: What are some ways to evaluate the effectiveness of MRP education?

A: Integral to the MRP journey to designation, and to sustaining a culture of nursing excellence, is education. In order to meet multiple learner styles and schedules, education must be provided in different formats, at different times, and at low- to no-cost. Some of the more common methods of education include instructor led/classroom, computer based, case studies, self instructional modules, handouts, subject matter experts, one on one via department-based educators, on unit demonstration and return-demonstration, simulation lab, presentations during shared governance or staff meetings or huddles, using games, and mock surveys.
