More than 200 nurses from New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania recently convened for South Jersey Healthcare's (SJH) fourth annual nursing research day, held at SJH Regional Medical Center in Vineland, NJ.
The keynote speaker was Betty Neuman, PhD, RN, who created the Neuman Systems Model. She discussed her theory of nursing research, applying it to research and practice, and the implications of research on the future of nursing.
In addition, eight SJH staff discussed the nursing research projects they are currently working on and how they plan to implement them in the local community.
