The most nerve-wracking moment of the journey to ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation is the site visit. The prospect of appraisers being on-site and asking questions can rattle the nerves of even the most confident staff nurse.
But staff members needn’t fear the site visit, says Rodney Aquino, RN, MPH, clinical charge nurse IV in the family treatment center at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.
