Inside the program: Maintain visibility after achieving designation
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, May 5, 2009
Congratulations! You have achieved ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation. Now it’s time to maintain MRP visibility in the community.
Achieve this task by:
- Identifying your organization as an MRP status facility in every advertisement published in your local newspaper, nursing journal advertisements, or recruitment brochures.
- Revising all hospital brochures/educational material in a timely fashion to reflect designation.
- Notifying the deans of your local nursing schools/colleges if you have not already done so.
