Inside the news: Texas patients get pampered with a state-of-the-art spa
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, February 17, 2009
CHRISTUS Hospital-St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX, will soon be treating patients for more than their health needs. Starting March 4, the hospital will also be treating patients to a bit of luxury.
St. Elizabeth—an ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® designation recipient in 2007—designed an innovative spa that will provide patients with an array of treatments to improve their well-being. These treatments include massages, manicures, and facials, as well as noninvasive face lifts and spray-on tanning. The health living spa will be staffed with a plastic surgeon, a massage and skin care therapist, and other administrative care experts.
Murad® cosmetics and skin care products, which are all natural, will be used for the spa treatments.
