Inside best practice: Save money during site-visit preparation

Although budgets are being cut due to the economy, nursing excellence is still attainable. As you begin your journey toward ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation or redesignation, one way to save money when preparing for the site visit is by meeting with MRP designated hospitals in your area.

Staff members from designated organizations can be very useful in preparing your staff nurses for the site visit with regard to possible questions appraisers may ask. You can also ask staff members from the designated organization to conduct a mock site visit at your facility.
