Inside the news: Seven healthcare organizations ring in the New Year with excellence
HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, January 13, 2009
Seven healthcare organizations have a lot to celebrate as the New Year begins. Each earned ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® designation or redesignation in December.
In total, there are 306 facilities that have achieved the nursing excellence award. The following six are celebrating first-time designation:
- Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN
- OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL
- Alegent Health Lakeside Hospital, Omaha, NE
- Winter Haven (FL) Hospital
- Bon Secours St. Mary, Richmond, VA
- Trinity Medical Center in IL and IA
One hospital celebrates redesignation:
- Sarasota (FL) Memorial Healthcare System
