To meet expectations for Force of Magnetism 11: Nurses as teachers, which falls under Component III: Exemplary professional practice, have staff nurses serve as preceptors. But make sure nurses are role models to their preceptees by having them:

- Be prompt and timely
- Maintain membership and activities in professional organizations and affiliations
- Be courteous and respectful of all team members and leadership at all times
