In the know: The no-nos of interview attire
Stressed Out Nurses Weekly, November 17, 2008
Appropriate dress for a job interview should reflect your personality and taste, but still remain professional. The easiest way to do this is to establish a Do Not Use list. Make sure you include the following items on your list.
If you are a female:
- No strapless spaghetti-strapped tops (unless the top is covered by a dress jacket or sweater that is not removed)
- No midriffs, short shorts, or miniskirts
- No tops that reveal too much
And let's not forget about the males:
- No T-shirts or muscle Ts
- No shorts
- No untucked shirts
