HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, July 15, 2008
After analyzing data on 5,453 medical centers in 16 specialty areas ranging from cancer to orthopedics, U.S. News and World Report recently named its top 50 hospitals in the country.

Out of the 19 honor roll facilities, the following 12 have achieved designation:
- Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD
- Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN
- Cleveland (OH) Clinic
- Massachusetts (Boston) General Hospital
- Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC
- Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (PA)
