Involve frontline staff with an ambassador committee

After Lakewood Hospital applied for ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® (MRP) designation, we wanted our frontline staff to be active in the MRP process, but participation was low.

After consideration, our leadership team identified a way to increase staff involvement: an MRP ambassador committee.

Selecting committee members

The MRP ambassador committee was developed as a way to help interested nurses learn more about the journey toward designation, and so those nurses could help educate their colleagues along the way.
