Managers need to maintain control of determining where to focus their attention next. Don't let the behaviors of others decide this for you. There are a lot of eager staff members who will dramatize scenarios in hopes of getting you to focus your attention on what they believe to be your most important priority. Remember that you are the manager, and your organization expects your priorities to be ordered according to the best interests of the patients. • The function or task
  • The deadline date(s)
  • Whom it affects
