Meeting employee and family needs

HCPro's Weekly Update on the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*, April 1, 2008

To meet the evolving needs of healthcare employees and their families, form a committee made up of people who know the details and needs of staff members. The members of the committee or task force should include:

  • Staff level employees from all shifts and various types of positions
  • Employees from diverse age groups
  • Employees from diverse cultural groups
  • Representatives from the mid-level management and top management group
  • Representatives from personnel or human resources
